Sherwood Park Hall CIO exists for the public benefit, to provide an inclusive, accessible and welcoming community space that promotes learning, creativity, wellbeing, and social connection for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities in the London Borough of Merton and surrounding areas.
We aim to empower local residents—particularly those who experience disadvantage, isolation, or inequality—by providing opportunities for personal growth, cultural expression, and active participation in community life.
Core Values

We are committed to creating a space where everyone feels welcome, respected, and able to participate fully, regardless of their background, ability, age, or identity. - Community Empowerment
We believe in supporting local people to lead, shape, and grow the services they use. Our work is driven by community needs and built on strong local partnerships. - Accessibility
We remove barriers to participation by offering affordable, physically accessible, and culturally appropriate activities and services. - Creativity and Expression
We value the role of the arts, culture, and creativity in personal and community development, and we actively promote opportunities for self-expression through performance, movement, and the creative arts. - Collaboration and Partnership
We work with local charities, schools, groups, and individuals to amplify our impact and deliver joined-up solutions that meet real needs. - Wellbeing and Belonging
We strive to improve physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing by creating safe, supportive, and uplifting experiences for everyone who engages with Sherwood Park Hall.
